Embark on a kayaking tour from Waitangi Beach for an exciting, informative and scenic adventure around this beautiful region. Under the instructions of an experienced guide, this half day tour will teach you all about the Waitangi River and the Maori Legends while you take in the beautiful scenery and say hello to some of the local wildlife. After you've paddled around the Waitangi Estuary's sheltered waters, you'll continue on to explore the Mangrove Forests (if the tide allows) as well as the unique waterfall at Haruru shaped like a horseshoe. This tour isn't all about kayaking, you'll also be given the chance to enjoy a light refreshment at the base of the waterfalls where you can also dive in and go for a swim in the refreshing water. Paddlers aren't required to have any previous experience making this adventure suitable for paddlers of all ages. The tours depart at both 10am and 2pm and require a minimum of two passengers per trip. However, if you would prefer a private tour through the region you are able to request one with Coastal Kayakers directly.</div>

- Dress code: In warm months, wear shorts, a t-shirt, and a light jacket. In cold months, add quick-drying fabric like polypropylene underneath
