This is a 2 hours dinner cruise. Enjoy the riverside view with the buffet spread. The food choices are not much and drinks included is only plain water. Other types of beverages are chargeable. They do have a live band and a traditional Thai dance where you can enjoy the song and maybe some dance too.

We booked a dinner cruise via our hotel Anantara. The cruise comes with transport to and from the harbor so that was a plus. We arrived and were handed our passes and then we boarded. We booked a table on deck so we went up and it was awesome. The views were spectacular and we took plenty of pictures to capture our night. The food was set up buffet style so we lined up and helped ourselves. The dishes were replenished quickly so there was an abundance of food available. The food was fresh and tasty. The staff were amazing and they even helped us by taking pictures for us. The drinks are not included in the package price so you have to pay for that separately. The music was live and it just added to the lovely atmosphere. We had an amazing experience and it was an unforgettable experience.

We had the New Year's Eve Wonderful Pearl cruise, and overall, we liked it. We booked 3 months in advance and still couldn't get an outside table. But even on the first deck it was nice, with the music band and the dancing nearby. The buffet food was OK, but nothing special. The entertainment could be better, the music bands were good, but we had only one 10 minutes-long thai dance performance. Twice, the waiters took our half-full plates while dancing. And close to midnight, they cleared the buffet and took away everything from the tables. The waiting before boarding was ridiculous. Everyone was standing cramped in the hallway for almost an hour. The best part was the open-air top deck, where everyone went for the count down and to wach the fireworks! The music was good and we had a nice NY party 🥳

My experience with the Grand Pearl dinner cruise was underwhelming. While the nighttime views and the ambiance of Bangkok were stunning, the cruise itself left much to be desired. The boat was overcrowded, and we were placed on a secondary boat, which wasn't what we had anticipated. Furthermore, the food was unimpressive and cold by the time we got it. The music selection was also lacking, and, all things considered, it didn't justify the cost.

This has to be in your bucket list while visiting Bangkok. Do tell them while purchasing ticket whether you want halal food or not so that they give you seats on the appropriate deck. For us, the upper deck was for halal food and this is where you wan sit to enjoy the most. Cruise gives you a nice tour of the river for about 2 hours & the lighting on the historical temples along the river bank makes this cruise even more worth it.
