What to expect

The Zhuoying Pond in the center of the garden is dotted with small islands of different sizes. The valleys, bridges, and pavilions are ingeniously arranged. In 1940, Shukkei Garden was designated as a national scenic spot. Due to the atomic bomb explosion, it was in a state of complete damage. Today, Qingfeng Pavilion and Mingyue Pavilion have been restored.
