From May to October the museum runs 09:30-17:00 with entry closing at 16:30; from November to April it runs 10:00-16:00 with entry closing at 15:30. Closures are the fourth Wednesday of each month from May to October and every Wednesday from November to April, postponed to the following day when the Wednesday is a national holiday. Entry point is the ticket gate at the Otaru Art Base - Former Mitsui Bank Otaru Branch, 1-3-1 Ironai, Otaru City.
