We absolutely loved this place during our time in Singapore. It’s a small, casual spot, but that’s part of its charm. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive from the moment we arrived. They were happy to help with recommendations and made us feel right at home. One of the things that impressed us most was how quickly the food arrived, even though the restaurant was busy. We ended up ordering quite a lot because everything on the menu sounded good, and we were not disappointed. Every single dish was excellent and full of flavor. The roast pork was perfectly cooked with crispy skin and tender meat, the noodles were rich and comforting, and the duck was juicy and packed with flavor. The standout dish for us, however, was the omelette—it was fluffy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious, easily one of the best we had on our trip. The portions were generous, the prices were very reasonable for the quality, and everything tasted fresh and well prepared. Overall, this was one of our favorite meals in Singapore. Amazing food, fast service, and genuinely kind staff made this a place we would happily return to. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic, satisfying food in a friendly setting.

Had my worst ever soup here! Omg it was just pure salt and nothing else. What a disappointment. The meats are the best - char siew fatty but abit too fatty, roasted duck ok but very very very over expensive for that few pieces. The chicken rice is not as tasty as the one beside (Jew kit) and the curry mee is too coconutty. The soya bean is use powder like what?! More importantly, service is terrible. There’s this aunty who just stares down at us without being helpful (our duck didn’t come w the noodles!) and the soup we requested to add more hot water coz it was so bad. Then a young lady who doesn’t seem to understand much - eng Chinese also not good Over priced, bad attitude, poor food. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

14 Jan 2026 It has been quite sometimes that I would like to try this place. And at last I made it. Bbq pork is good, not to much fat. Charsiu is the best. The taste above average from other charsiu. With a thin layer of fat that comes with the charsiu. The bad about it, is some of the fat is more than the meat. Duck, no. I don't like the taste of herbs from the duck. Noodle for me is pretty good. For sure will be back.

Great local small business with very nice atmosphere and great local food! Plenty of choices and freshly cooked. Close to Somerset metro station. The neon sign is also quite funny. No booking needed, just walk in and enjoy. Service is also attentive.

Very decent roast and food in general. Char siew is well caramelised while roast pork is crispy on the skin and tender for the meat. The noodle is actually springy and has a distinct smoked smell despite being simple noodles. Vegetables were stir fried well and portions are generous despite the affordable price. Delivery was sent very quickly, meaning that the kitchen did not wait for a rider to be assigned before cooking. Great processes! Will order again soon!
