It was a fun experience riding in a boat/car for 35 minutes getting to view most of key sites at once. However, while driving the boat, the driver was not paying full attention where he was going by looking at his mobile phone a few times (i bet he drove that path a thousand times but still..). I was able to witness this as I sat at the very front while others in the back seats couldn't. Program was fun and worth the money with a nice guide person.

An interesting tour, but with a few drawbacks. You can buy your ticket online, but you can't choose your seat. Even with an online ticket, you have to stop by the ticket booth in Suntec City mall for confirmation. Then your seat is automatically assigned to you. If you don't have a seat on the outside row, the one next to the board, you can't take decent pictures. In addition, if you sit on the last row of seats, you don't really hear any of the information given by the guide, even if he uses a microphone and speakers. Everything is jamed by the loud engine noise. In addition, in those seats, there is also a strong smell of exhaust fumes.

We took the Singapore Duck Tour in the last week of June and had a mostly enjoyable time. Highlights of these tours are always the water segment. The cruise through Marina Bay had fantastic views of the Merlion, the Singapore Flyer, Marina Bay Sands Hotel, and the Gardens by the Bay. The view of the skyline from the water is particularly beautiful. Take note, if you’re seated near the sides of the boat, you may get splashed when the vehicle enters the water. It’s not a big deal, but something to keep in mind. The boat’s motor is very loud. The guide does use a microphone so most of us could hear him. But there were times when it was difficult. The street portion of the tour was short. We passed around the Parliament building and the Padang before returning. Since it was close to National Day, we did get to see the grandstands and army vehicles out for parade rehearsals. Still, I would’ve liked to see more of the city. The tour runs about 50 minutes and cost S$45. I recommend booking the 5 PM slot when it’s a bit cooler. After the tour you can head to Suntec City or the nearby area for dinner.

It's a well organised tour and the ride is comfortable and fun. We've done duck tours in London and this one is better on the water section, but less good on the land section, so pretty much on a par. There is an issue however.... there's basically no chance of hearing any of the commentary unless you are sitting next the guide, even though is mic is on full volume. This is because the engine is extremely loud, positioned on top at the back and not enclosed. And your seats are chosen for you, so you can't grab the seats positioned by the guide LOL. I would suggest the operator ditches the mic and hands out headphones with a pre-recorded tour commentary. It was a shame not to be able to hear him, because I've no doubt what he had to say was both informative and fun. Ah well c'est la vie.

A fun and interesting activity to do. It takes around 50 minutes with 2 parts, best part is on the water of course. Nice view for the most iconic places of Singapore. Travelling with my 72+ years old mom without any issue taking this and she liked it a lot. And kids will love it fpr sure! (So do people who are kid-at-heart 😅 ) The guide on duty at 3pm tour on Feb 1, 2025 is also super nice. Recommend to purchase the ticket online in advance during peak season/public holiday as it might be sold out on the day.
