If you are a Sanrio lover, I recommend visiting this place because there is no other place like this! The my melody ride and boat ride are both very fun and cute and the Sanrio statues and animatronics are very cool and cute! I also recommend going on this cinamoroll themed game because the game is fun and the seats move around! But there are cons to this theme park, first, the lines to the ride during the weekend can be very long being up to 60-100 minutes so i recommend buying fast pass, secondly, if you want to see the parade you have to stand and claim a spot very early and if you don’t you will not get a good view of the parade since it’s a small park and people will be in the way. Also, this park mainly focuses on character meet and greets and mostly for children but it was still worth it and I was buying many Sanrio merch at the gift shops! I also forgot to say the park is completely indoors!

My wife is a huge fan of hello kitty, I can’t count how many hello kitty items we have in the house, especially plushies and key chains. She has so many different sized collections from different countries, anything hello kitty that she likes we often add to her ever growing collection. We are currently in japan, and what not a better time then to book some tickets to sanrio puroland, she absolutely loved it. Unfortunately it isn’t adult friendly, more for the kids as there is mostly theatres and acts rather than rides. There was one ride there that was closed which was a boat ride, and another one which was kuromi’s rent-a-ride which was pretty cool, because you get the option to take a photo home at the end of the ride. 2 and a half minutes ride but you wait 40 minutes - 1 hour, so depending on how much you appreciate your time, maybe it’s worth spending that extra $5 per person to get priority? If you aren’t in a rush then usually 1 hour is the time frame. Anyway, plenty of sanrio stuff to buy, plenty of spots to take a photo, which is all that matters in the end. But maybe a few more rides for the kids and adults would be handy? Anyway, my wife was happy, so it was pretty much her day today. 🙂

I am a Sanrio fan but this place isn't exactly meant for adults. It's main audience is children but when you grow up being a sanrio girlie. You have to visit the theme park. The train ride here was quite long from our lodging location but boy was the train station beautiful. It is magical! The building is gorgeous upon viewing as we got in range of it. The inside is magical! The queues for some of the stores, rides (2 rides btw) and cafes are ridiculously long. There are scheduled shows, however you have to pay to watch it. There's seating placed around the floor stage. Unfortunately, you have to pass through the show, to get to other parts of the building. As much as you'd like to stop adn watch, you will be asked by staff to move along - no cameras. Staff are kind and very helpful.

Sanrio Puroland is a magical and unforgettable experience, especially for Sanrio fans! The rides are fun, charming, and perfect for all ages, with adorable storytelling, music, and colorful visuals that really bring the characters to life. Each attraction feels thoughtfully designed and easy to enjoy, even without long wait times. The food is another highlight—super cute, creatively themed, and surprisingly tasty. From character-shaped desserts to fun meals, everything is Instagram-worthy and delicious. The shows, character meet-and-greets, and overall atmosphere make the park feel warm and joyful. Friendly staff and a great selection of merchandise complete the experience. A must-visit attraction in Tokyo for families, couples, and anyone who loves Sanrio!

This place is great for the Sanrio lover. I'm not a fan myself but i still enjoyed myself. The location is easy to find, we visited on a Thursday there was no line at the door, but it was busy inside. The lines for the rides were manageable. The live show/entertainment around the tree is fabulous. The interior design of this venue is beautifully done and out of this world. I really enjoyed the boat ride with my whole family of 6. I advise you Purchase the tickets for reserved times so you are not waiting in line for 1 hour. There is easy stroller parking at the lobby floor, convenient coin lockers for bulk items. There are 3 or 4 different restaurants to feed your hunger. The food is not out of this world, but its also not terrible. Prepare to spend alot on PLUSHYS if your kids or wife love Sanrio characters!
