I recently visited the Singapore Oceanarium and it was a wonderful and memorable experience. The entire place is very well organized and beautifully designed, making it enjoyable for visitors of all age groups. As you walk through the different sections, you get to see an incredible variety of marine life that is both fascinating and educational. There are so many types of fish in different shapes, sizes, and colors that I had never seen before. From tiny glowing fish to massive ocean species, every aquarium section is carefully maintained and gives a very clear view. One of the best parts of the visit was the large glass tunnel where you can walk while sharks and giant rays swim above and around you. It truly feels like walking inside the ocean. The lighting and presentation are excellent, creating a calm and immersive environment. The giant central tank is absolutely stunning and is one of the main highlights of the attraction. Watching the slow movement of large sea creatures in such a massive space is very relaxing and mesmerizing. The staff members are helpful, and the facility is clean and well managed. There are also educational displays explaining marine ecosystems and conservation efforts, which makes the visit informative as well as entertaining. It is recommended to try booking tickets in advance before going, as the place can get crowded during weekends and holidays. Overall, this attraction easily takes two to three hours to explore and is a must-visit place in Singapore for families and marine life lovers.

Enjoyable trip to the newly opened Oceanarium. While the tickets are on the pricier side, I felt the experience was worth it. I spent roughly four hours there, much of which involved looking up additional facts and identifying creatures that were not covered on the information panels. The on-site information is fairly brief and only provided for selected creatures. It would be great if the experience were more educational with more detailed and comprehensive explanations. The midpoint of the Oceanarium is the Open Ocean zone, which serves as a pleasant viewing area and a good place to take a short break. This is also where food and toilets are located, though more toilets would definitely be appreciated. Food options are simple but decent, mainly basic finger foods such as nuggets, popcorn, and chicken tenders. The journey in was much enjoyable, while the latter part back was a little underwhelming. My favourite installation was A Home Reimagined: A Submerged Reality, which presents an apocalyptic vision of rising sea levels and was both impactful and thought-provoking. Overall, there is a wide variety of well-curated and interactive installations and tanks to enjoy. The layout is engaging and family-friendly, making it especially suitable for children.

Very fun and informative. There were interactive stations scattered throughout the journey, which was engaging and fun. Luckily, it wasn't very crowded when I visited and I got to take a lot of photos of the fish. Some fish were hard to take photos of, and others were easy to take photos of. I'm quite happy with my photos. There were also toilets and water fountains at frequent intervals. The food is expansive, but pretty alright. I loved sitting down and watching the fish swim at the big tank, the music and atmosphere were very relaxing. The sharks were very chill.

If you’re staying in Sentosa like we did, hitting up the Singapore Oceanarium is an absolute must—it’s right in Resorts World Sentosa, just a quick ride on the free Sentosa Express from Imbiah Station (super easy 1-min walk from the resort to the skytrain, then hop off at Resorts World!). This place is incredible: it’s one of the world’s largest oceanariums, now even bigger after a major revamp and rebranding in 2025. It reopened as Singapore Oceanarium in July 2025, three times larger than before, with 22 immersive zones showcasing over 100,000 marine animals from more than 1,000 species. Think stunning habitats from shallow coral reefs to deep-sea mysteries, prehistoric underwater worlds, massive jellyfish collections, and interactive storytelling that educates while blowing your mind. Highlights we loved: • The Open Ocean Habitat with the world’s largest viewing panel—sharks, manta rays, and schools of fish gliding right overhead. It’s hypnotic! • Over-the-head tunnels and giant dioramas for that “underwater” feel. • Glowing jellyfish exhibits, vibrant coral zones, and touch pools for hands-on fun. • Behind-the-scenes vibes like seahorse or jellyfish feeding sessions (bookable add-ons). • Educational zones blending conservation messages with cool tech—perfect for families to learn while having fun. It’s family-friendly, well-maintained, and not too crowded on weekdays. Allow several hours to explore fully—it’s more than just looking at fish; it’s an inspiring ocean journey that makes you appreciate marine life more. It’s worth it for the wow factor—especially if you’ve never seen anything this scale. 😊

Loved it! One of the best I’ve ever visited. So much to see. I loved that all the animals appeared to be really healthy! We arrived at 9:00am on a Tuesday. On a Sunday the line was huge waiting to get in at 2pm in the afternoon. I like how they allow you in in stages and groups. It meant we were never crowded. Easy to get around. Amazing animals and beautiful tanks and enclosures. Lots of places to sit and watch and enjoy the animals. Feeding time is great. The big tank is incredible.
